Responsible by Design in the Military Domain: New GCRAIM Report
GCRAIM published a report titled ‘Responsible by Design: Strategic Guidance Report on the Risks, Opportunities, and Governance of AI in the Military Domain’. Prof. Jeroen van den Hoven, scientific director of the Delft Digital Ethics Centre, is one of the Commissioners, who functioned as workstream facilitator and member of the drafting Committee of the report.

The TU Delft Digital Ethics Centre will advise the World Health Organization (WHO) on ethical aspects and laws and regulations surrounding AI in healthcare. WHO: Ethics & AI for COVID-19 response – ethical considerations for contact tracing Apps
Jeroen van den Hoven contributed as a member of expertsgroup WHO to the interim guidance. this interim guidance is intended to inform public health programmes and governments that are considering whether to develop or implement digital proximity tracking technologies for COVID-19 contact tracing. The document covers ethical principles, technical considerations and requirements that are consistent with these principles; and how to achieve equitable and appropriate use of such technologies.
